I'm Captain Bill

The shores of the Atlantic Ocean have been my home from childhood to adulthood. Influenced by my father's example, I decided to build my own boat for my profession as a carpenter and caretaker on the islands in the Penobscot Bay.

The Nanatoo, a 36 foot lobster style vessel, was launched in 2006 and has been sailing the seas since. Stonington Harbor, her home base, makes access to one of the many surrounding islands, an evening cruise around the harbor, an afternoon watching sailboat races, or a romantic dinner at an island restaurant possible.

The cabin is large enough to provide protection in inclement weather, chairs are available if you prefer to enjoy the fresh air. Life jackets in a variety of sizes are available - though you may prefer your young child's own vest. We follow the CDC's guildlines for your health and safety. I am a licensed Captain who has spent my working life on the seas.
